Our art workshops focus on teaching coping skills, stress management, and resilience through art mediums such as drawing, watercolors, and collages. The workshops are taught by skilled artists who are mentored by art therapists. The cost for clients is covered by insurance as part of a medically directed treatment plan. Participant attend 2 times per week for two hours, with workshops 6-8 weeks in length. We will be beginning with Arts in Health workshops for ages 15 and up. Self-awareness activities for adults and youth provide workshop participants a way of tapping into creativity. Research shows that art benefits mental health.
