Provides a national, holistic approach to mental health through virtual therapeutic workshops focusing on art, music, and drama. We believe strongly in the benefits of art for mental health, increasing mental health access, and reducing the stigma of mental illness. Whether you are looking to work on inner transformation, self-exploration, creativity, well-being education, or networking, we have free and low cost options for you.
QSF therapeutic workshops are an exciting way to engage and motivate you by unleashing your creativity, helping you to shed stress, and build up your mental stamina. Our telecommunications format gives you the opportunity to meet people from all across the United States and Canada. Our workshops are provided in the appropriate age groups for adults, teens, and children. Some are multigenerational. Others are specifically meant for one age group.
Therapeutic Art Workshops engage the mind, body, and spirit in ways that are distinct from verbal articulation alone.
Listening to music, singing, playing an instrument, and dancing are all great ways to boost your mood.
Exercise is a proven stress reliever. When you move your body to music, it is a great mood booster.
Laughing is actually a workout for your muscles and releases endorphins to fight stress.
QSF provides all of its services through telecommunications (phone or computer and webcam). We use a confidential and HIPAA-approved Zoom platform for our workshops to provide a safe and confidential space for self-exploration. There is a minimal registration fee so that you can afford to participate alone or as a family. Please let us know if you need financial assistance for purchasing workshop supplies.
We are a multicultural organization serving people of all ages, races, ethnicities, religions, gender identities, and socioeconomic statuses. Our programs are for adults, teens, and children, including people with disabilities, older adults, and those living on a low income.
We want to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in mental health. Our staff is multicultural. They speak over eight languages and can provide a variety of educational, informational, and therapeutic specialties to meet your needs.
Honor First/QSF therapists facilitate our virtual workshops and community support groups, providing a safe space for self-exploration and authentic personal expression. QSF’s focus is on increasing mental health and well-being, while reducing stigma. We do not provide therapy directly. However, we can connect you to our virtual therapy partner, Honor First, if you decide that might be helpful. Sometimes, all we need is to talk to someone.
